Requirements:

Brand new to pickleball
Played before with no formal instruction
Unable to keep score

Completed one or more sessions of our beginner clinic or the equivalent
Knows how to hit dinks, volleys, drops, drives, serves, and returns
Able to properly keep score and understands all rules (including the two-bounce rule)

Players who have taken our 2.0-3.0 clinic and were given approval to move up
Makes no mistakes with scoring and rules
Proficient in basic shot selection and court positioning
Can sustain a dink rally of 15+ shots
Knows how and when to hit dinks out of the air
Can properly execute drops and drives
Players with a DUPR must have at least a 3.0 rating

Players who have taken our 3.0-3.5 clinic and were given approval to move up
Near perfect fundamentals, shot selection, and court positioning
Proficient in hitting dinks and drops from all areas of the court
Can sustain a dink rally of 30+ shots
Understands basic matchplay strategies
Players with a DUPR must have at least a 3.25 rating

Players who have taken our 3.5-4.0 clinic and were given approval
This is a high-level clinic only for players with competitive experience who have mastered all fundamentals and are prepared to learn pro-level concepts in strategy and technique.
Players with a DUPR must have at least a 3.75 rating

Introduction to the third shot drop and third shot drive
Rules and scoring
Basic court positioning
Introduction to basic pickleball strategy
An overview of everything needed to be able to play

Dinking with consistency and confidence
Speedups, defending speedups, and counter-attacks
Shifting, moving with your partner, and covering the kitchen line
Third shot decision making (when and how to hit drops/drives)
Introduction to lobs, defending lobs, and overheads
Serving and returning with consistency, pace, and depth

Soft game confidence: putting the ball in the kitchen on demand
Hitting with precision and targeting the right spots on all shots
Introduction to advanced footwork and court positioning
Introduction to resets from the kitchen and transition zone
Mastery of proper decision making
Switching between offense and defense

Aggressive dinking to create offensive opportunities
Confidently resetting from all areas of the court
Proper anticipation (judging where the ball will go before its hit)
Advanced shot selection, court positioning, and matchplay strategy
Introduction to stacking (when serving and returning)
Mastery of all fundamentals

Advanced point construction, patterns, and plays
Using topspin on dinks, drops, and drives
Flicks and attacking from below the net with discretion
Mastery of advanced footwork
Advanced speedup placement and other attack strategies
Auxiliary shots such as ATPs, Ernes, and lobs
