What Are Beginner Clinics?

Our beginner clinics are the easiest way to get into pickleball. Clinics include a full breakdown of everything you need to get started: rules, fundamental technique, how to keep score, court positioning, and strategy. Our lessons are crafted specifically for brand-new beginners, and are led by our professionally trained coaching team.

Groups are small so you’ll get real hands-on attention from your coach. You don't need to bring anything except sneakers and your energy! We've got paddles, balls, and an indoor facility waiting for you.

Clinic Details

  • Dates: 5-Week Sessions Running Year-Round

  • Times: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends

  • Location: Montclair Pickleball (1 Lackawanna Plaza, Montclair, NJ)

  • Length: 1 or 1.5 Hours (multiple options)

  • Pricing: $35/class for 1 hour classes or $45/class for 1.5 hour classes

What You’ll Learn

  • Pickleball rules

  • How to keep score and play games/matches

  • How to hold the paddle

  • Basic shots including dinks, volleys, groundstrokes, serves, and returns

  • Basic strategy and court positioning

  • How to rally back and forth (believe us, you’ll actually be doing it on day 1!)
